Privacy and data use

Recovery enquiries

We store the pickup and destination postcodes you submit and any optional name, phone number, vehicle details or message. Our private operations workspace uses this information to respond to enquiries, organise recoveries, assign drivers and record follow-ups and job history. Submitting an enquiry does not confirm a booking.

Website interactions and security

We record call-link and WhatsApp-link clicks, the page involved and technical request information such as IP address and browser user agent. A click does not mean a call was answered or a message was sent. IP addresses do not reliably identify a person. We also use security records to limit repeated submissions and sign-in attempts.

Administrative access uses a secure session cookie. The website also includes Vercel Web Analytics in production.

Service providers and maps

Enquiries and operational records are stored using Supabase, and the website is hosted using Vercel. Postcodes may be sent to postcodes.io to obtain approximate postcode-centre coordinates; these are not live vehicle locations.

The private map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap or CARTO. Those requests can disclose the viewing administrator's IP address and the map area being viewed to the tile provider. Customer contact details are not added to map-tile requests. Driving directions are opened with Google Maps only when an administrator chooses that link.

Choosing a WhatsApp or external maps link opens that provider's service, where its own privacy terms apply. Information included in a WhatsApp enquiry is sent when you choose to send the message.
